Obituary for Ronald Gene Crowe Ronald G. Crowe, 78, of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Unicoi, TN, he is the son of the late Jimison and Hazel Crowe. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by sisters Juanita Hicks and Virginia Grindstaff.

Ron was a member of Harrison Christian Church. He loved his family and his church. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 538 for fifty years.

He was an avid karaoke fan and enjoyed old cars. Those left to cherish Ronald’s memory include: his wife of 40 years, Deborah; children, Ronnie Crowe, Jr. and Sandra Ritchie Miles (Marty); step-sons, Randy Gabrel (Kendra) and Jon Gabrel (Cindy); grandchildren, Joshua Ritchie (Amanda), Kellie White (Marshall), Braydon Gabrel, Riley Morrow, Eli Morrow, Cooper Gabrel, Elijah Gabrel, Noah Gabrel, Harley Greenwell, and Cherokee Lowe; great-grandchildren, Raven Ritchie and Hayzen White; siblings, Larry Stines (Carolyn), Joy Ellis (Jim), Roy Stines, and Don Crowe; several nieces and nephews; daughters in law Tonia Walker and Tammy Hicks Gabrel; and his special group of friends at the Wellness Center. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Johnson City Medical Center, especially ICU nurses Rhett and Tosha.

The family will gather to receive friends on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 12:00 PM until a celebration of Ron’s life beginning at 1:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Rev. Brian Powell and Rev. Mark Matson officiating.

An entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
