Ronald K. Hanson, 82, of Beloit, WI, died on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 29, 1936 in Beloit, WI, the son of Leonard and Ann (Bodi) Hanson. Ron was a 1955 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Ron was employed Eco Lab as an assembler and shipping group leader. He loved collecting antiques, books, and spending time with the neighborhood kids and their animals.

Ron lived life the way he wanted to and by his own rules. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; special friends, Sonny and Gloria Fourtunis, Rosie and Bob Myhre and Bob Coon. He was predeceased by his siblings, Darlene Rousseau, Jerry Hanson, Dawn Morgan, Judy Stowers, Jackie Johnson, Bobby Hanson and Dennis Hanson.

A special thank you to all his friends and neighbors on Garfield who watched over Ron for so many years and to Dr. Gold and his staff, especially Sue with the good hair and Kim too. Per Ron’s request, there will be no services. Family and friends are welcome to join in remembrance of Ron at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Road Dawg Family Restaurant, 2956 Milwaukee Rd.
