Obituary of Ronald Kepler Ronald A. Kepler, Sr., 63, of Briggs Road, Little Valley, NY, formerly of Jamestown, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Olean General Hospital. He was born September 12, 1955 in Erie, Pa. , the son of Veda Kepler Stubbs and the late Clyde L. Kepler, Sr. In earlier years, he was employed as a correctional officer in Virginia and then by the Gustavus Adolphus Home in Jamestown.

He then worked for Acu-Rite in Jamestown for 20 years. Ron was a life member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), VFW, Moose and the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands, as well as long time member of the NRA. In addition to his mother, Veda, of Jamestown, surviving are four children: Stephine McMurdy of Sinclairville, NY, and Ronald A. Kepler, Jr., Richard “Bud” Kepler and Patricia Raynor, all of Jamestown; eleven grandchildren: Brett, Alexis, Mackenzie, Josh, Ronnie, Lillian, Noah, Kendra, Bryanna, Brittany and Chloe; two brothers: Clyde Kepler, Jr. and Harry Kepler, both of Jamestown; two sisters: Brenda Merwick of Jamestown and Crystal Bonafede of Cherry Creek, NY; and his former wife, Gloria Kepler of Randolph.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde L. Kepler, Sr. in 1995; step-father, William Stubbs in 2003; sister, Veda Kepler in 1957; and his first wife, Donna in 1988 and second wife, Rebecca in 2013. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev.

Dodi McIntyre and Pastor William Crosby will officiate. Burial will be in the Cherry Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
