Ronnie Lynn Watson “Neck Bone” Ronnie Lynn “Neck Bone” Watson, age 60, died on Friday, April 20, 2018, at the Mobile Infirmary Hospital, Mobile, AL. He was born in the Bermuda Community of Monroe County, AL, to Willie Frank and Evelyn V. Millender Watson on August 14, 1957. He accepted Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Rest A. M. E. Zion Church and later united with the New Hope A.M.E. Zion Church in Burnt Corn, AL, where he remained a member until his death.

Ronnie graduated from Repton High School in 1976. He was an outstanding basketball player. He was a father and grandfather who loved his daughters and grandchildren.

Ronnie was a self employed Commercial Truck Driver and hauled loads until his health made it difficult. He was affectionately known as “Neck Bone” by those who knew and loved him. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Johnnie Mack Locke, Willie Calvin Watson and Sylvester Watson.

He leaves to celebrate his life, two daughters: Schmieka (Joseph) Davis-Dean and Katara Davis both of Montgomery, AL; four brothers and one sister: George Lee (Bernice) Nettles of Repton, AL, Norman Nettles of Miami, FL, McKinley (Mary) Watson, Arthur (Donna) Watson and Cynthia Diane (Michael) Evans all of Bermuda, AL; three grandchildren: Ashtun Parker Dean, Taylor Marie Denson, one godson: Jacobie Kidd of Monroeville, AL; a devoted friend and cousin, Liz McMillian; a host of nieces, nephews other loved relatives and many devoted friends.
