He accepted Christ at an early age and served him throughout his lifetime. He became a member of the Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Uriah and worshipped there through his early years.

During his lifetime, he maintained gainful employment in an effort to provide for his family. He met and married Lula Kemp. Their union brought about the love and upbringing of thirteen children.

He was educated at Union High School and learned at an early age, the benefit of hard work. He was a loving husband and father. Rosher enjoyed the simplicities of life; watching old Westerns on television and spending time with his children.
