Obituary for Rosalinda May Rosalinda May, 71, of Goldsboro, passed away on October 13, 2018 in Dover. She was born on December 31, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Santos Castillo and Esperanza Ballesteros. She married Clinton Oscar May Jr. in November of 1966 and together they had 5 sons.

Mrs. May was a devoted mother to her 5 boys and always made time to help nurture their various interests, especially in sports while they were growing up. Family was always the most important thing in her life, she was very welcoming to everyone she met and treated friends as family. She loved fishing trips, playing cards where she had mastered Spades; another passion throughout her life was gardening and used her green thumb in both vegetable and flower gardens.

She enjoyed crafts of all kinds and loved to sew, often making shirts for her husband, vests for her sons, dolls and doll clothes. An animal lover, there were always dogs, cats, fish and birds in her life. Mrs. May is survived by her husband, sons Clinton May III, Shane May, Craig May, Cyrus May, Bryant May; sisters Ory Day, Hope Montes, Norma Romo, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
