Rose Ambrose June 7, 1926 – December 21, 2018 Rose Ambrose, 92 of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Newark, Rose was a resident of Port Reading for 57 years prior to settling in Toms River. She was a waitress at Rugs & Riffy’s in Woodbridge and Moby Dicks in Sewaren for many years.

Rose was always an outgoing, beautiful person who loved everyone and touched many lives. She will be sorely missed. Rose was predeceased by her husband, William Hilton along with her son, Dennis Hilton and daughter, Kathy Walsh.

Surviving are her son, David Hilton; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services are private at the request of the family and are under the direction of Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge.
