Rose Ann Gordon, 90, of Lucerne, went home to be with her Lord at 5:36 a.m. February 14, 2019 at her home. She was born July 30, 1928 in Rensselaer, IN to William H. and Helen A. (Tyler) Daugherty. She married Robert L. Gordon Sr. on May 28, 1950 in the Fulton Baptist Church.

Rose Ann was a homemaker and home health care worker for many years. She also taught school at Lake Cicott Elementary. She was a graduate of Rensselaer High School, Manchester University and Indiana University.

Surviving family include her daughter, Ruth G. (Wayne) Wanner, Stone Mountain, GA; two sons, Robert (Sarah) Gordon Jr., Lucerne, IN and David (Candice) Gordon, Torrance, CA; and daughter Elizabeth Bush of Macy, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Peter and four sisters. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Kindred Hospice for their support and care, especially to Rose Ann’s nurse, Crystal.

A celebration of life service will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday February 24th 2019 at the Fulton Community Center in Fulton, IN with daughter, Elizabeth Bush officiating. Lunch will also be served. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery at a later date.
