Obituary of Rose Marie Archick Rose Marie Testi Archick, age 76, of Ansonia CT, beloved wife of Richard Archick passed away on September 29, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 27, 1942 daughter of the late Carmen and Barbara Lecardo Testi. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, Class of 1960.

She was a stay at home mom who later in life worked in many jobs, including New England Home Care and CT Rides. Rose was a fan of the New York Yankees and any team that her grandsons or granddaughter were playing on. She loved taking long afternoon rides; travelling for long weekends to the Lancaster, PA Dutch Country, especially seeing performances at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster; crocheting and quilting, making many beautiful items for her family to love and cherish.

Richard and Rose visited and enjoyed the beauty of light houses and belonged to the New England Light House Association. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband include her daughters, Corinne Sheridan and her husband Eric of Shelton, Colleen Gibson and her husband Ken of Oxford and Barbara Fahy and her husband Jeff of Ansonia; 2 step-sons Richard Archick Jr and his wife Jessica of Milford, Michael Archick and his wife Amy of Burlington; her cherished grandchildren, Steven Sheridan (Lauren), Michelle Ostrowski (Eddie), Justin and Christian Weglinski, Brandon and Nicholas Fahy, Benjamin and Luke Archick; Her siblings Carmen Testi Jr. of Stratford and Barbara Testi England of South Carolina, brother and sister in-law William and Linda Archick of Hamden, brother-in law Raymond of PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rose was pre-deceased by her brother Anthony and sister-in-law Yolanda Testi, sister-in-law MaryAnn Testi, and brother in law Matthew Archick. The family would like to thank Shamequa and Wavney from Right at Home for all their loving care; Maria from the Alzheimer’s Association, Linda from Bridgeport Hospital Center for Geriatrics and the nurses from Constellation Hospice for their endless support. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd.

, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
