Obituary for Roy Arnold 86-year-old Roy Arnold of Pana, Illinois formerly of Oconee, Illinois died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 2:45 PM at Heritage Healthcare Center, Pana, Illinois. Roy Arnold was born on Wednesday July 8, 1931 in Oconee, Illinois the son of Henry and Fannie (maiden name Wetura) Arnold. He was raised in Oconee and attended Tennessee Country School.

Roy was a veteran of the United States Army Korean Conflict. Roy Arnold married Louise Marie Pollman on July 20, 1957 in Oconee Sacred Heart Church where he was a lifelong member. Roy was previously employed at Firestone in Decatur, Illinois retiring from there in 1993.

Roy Arnold is survived by his wife Louise of Pana; Sons Mike, Greg, Jeff, and Eric Arnold all of Pana; Daughters Angie (Steve) Jones of Pana, Lori (Vince) Vandenbergh of Witt, Illinois; Grandchildren Ashley and Joey Jones; Theresa, Ralph, Louie, Maria, Mary and Agnes Vandenbergh; two Great-Granddaughters Brooke and Caylee Cox. Roy Arnold is survived by one brother John (Tina) Arnold of Carson City, Nevada. Roy is preceded in death by two Brothers Ted and Walter Arnold; three Sisters Gertrude Cameron, Betty Flowers, and Lillian Flesch.
