Obituary for RUBEN LICON Funeral services for Ruben Licon age 17 of Lorenzo, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, Texas with Pastor Carlos Hinojos officiating. Interment will follow to Lorenzo Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at Jerusalem Baptist Church also in Lorenzo, Texas at 7:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.

Ruben passed away on Monday April 9, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. He was born on August 4, 2000 in Lubbock, Texas to Ricky Licon and Alice Hinojos. Ruben was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dora Licon.

Ruben is survived by his family, his father, Ricky Licon of Lubbock, Texas and his mother, Alice Hinojos of Lubbock, Texas; his son, Zaedyn Xavier Licon of Lubbock, Texas; four sisters, Marina Licon of Lubbock, Texas, Samantha Hinojos of Lorenzo, Texas, Victoria Licon of Lubbock, Texas, and Bella Licon of Lubbock, Texas; his grandparents, Leandro and Guadalupe Hinojos of Lorenzo, Texas, and Ben Licon of Lubbock, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
