Ruby Esther Krampota McAnally August 06, 1925 – March 12, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Ruby Esther Krampota McAnally, age 93, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center Hospital, Webster, Texas. Ruby was born August 6, 1925 in Kenney, Texas to parents Charles and Teresa (Maresh) Krampota. She was four years old when the family moved to Iowa Colony, Texas.

In 1949, Ruby married a Navy veteran, James McAnally. They made their home in Houston, Texas; Mobile, Alabama; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Pasadena, Texas before returning to retire in Iowa Colony, Texas. Ruby was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Alvin.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn and husband, Malcolm Edwards of Boise, Idaho, and Patti and husband, Rick Forey of LaMarque, Texas; five grandchildren, Jim Edwards and wife Erika; Michael Carver, Jacob Carver and fiancé Danielle; Ryan Forey and wife Aimee, Sean Forey and wife Melissa; five great-grandchildren, Maddox, Kaylon, Kolbie, Brynlee and Chance. Survivors also include brothers, Franklin Krampota and wife Katie of Baytown, Texas, Charles Krampota and wife Sandra of Pearland, Texas, and Jerry Krampota and wife Peggy of Alvin, sister-in-law Dolores Krampota of Houston, and brother-in-law Sonny Giddens of Poulan, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents were two sisters Grace Krampota Cook and Evelyn Krampota Giddens, two brothers, Raymond Krampota and Melvin Krampota.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. also at Scott Funeral Home. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland where she will be laid to rest by her husband.
