Ruby Nell Trembley, 87, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord. She was born November 17, 1931 in Cabarrus County to the late Elmer Galyan and the late Ella Mae Galyan. She was also preceded in death by son, Edward Louis Trembley, II.

Ruby worked for Cannon Mills as a twister for many years. She loved animals and really enjoyed sewing. A memorial service will be held Monday at 4:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord in Concord officiated by Terry Rollins and Tim Stancill.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly (Tim) Stancill of Concord, NC; daughter, Teressa (Larry) Shaver of Concord, NC; son, Douglas Anthony Trembly of MS; daughter, Mona (Terry) Rollins of Salisbury, NC; sister, Jonnie Galyan of Concord, NC; 7 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Trembley family.
