Russell C. Earhart, Sr., 82, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on January 13, 1937 in Lebanon and was the loving son of the late Charles and Alberta (Newin) Earhart. He was a United States Army Veteran where he served as a clerk with the 24th Medical Battalion in Augsbury Germany.

Russell was a member of the Elizabethtown’s VFW Post 5667, American Legion Post 329, Middletown Anglers and Hunters. He also enjoyed shooting pool, hunting and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Gail Earhart; sons, Russell Earhart, Jr. of Elizabethtown, Bryon Earhart Snow and his husband Donald of Middletown; brother, Larry Earhart (Faye) of Annville; nine step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren.

A tribute to Russell’s life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, N. Spring St. Middletown with the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions in Russell’s name to your local food bank or St. Peter’s Church. Condolences may be made online at www.
