Russell J. Lindsley, 62, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Wednesday, October 16, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a battle with cancer. Russ was born on September 16, 1956 in Sandusky, OH, the son of Jude T. and Glenda M. (Ramsey) Lindsley. On July 07, 1990, he married Sue E. VanDootingh and she survives.

He was a great dad that never missed any of his kid’s sports events. Those left to cherish his memory include: Loving Wife: Sue Lindsley; Daughters: Kelsey Lindsley, Katie Lindsley, and Marcy Lindsley; Brother: Brian Lindsley; Sister: Judi (Mike) Nath and several Nieces and Nephews. Russ was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law: Pam Lindsley.

Visitation will be from 2-4pm, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a service of Remembrance at 4:00. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern Ohio Chapter-Cleveland, 8001 Sweet Valley Dr., Suite 3, Valley View, OH 44125.
