Obituary for Ruth Chisholm Ruth Chisholm of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Charlie D. and Alta F. (King) Potter on August 28, 1929 in Stratford, Oklahoma and passed from this life on October 8, 2018 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 89 years. Ruth grew up and attended school in Stratford, Oklahoma. On November 16, 1948, Ruth married Walt Chisholm.

They made their home in many places before settling in Elmore City, Oklahoma in 1970. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. Chisholm is survived by: Sons: J. W. Chisholm and wife Raye of Hurst, Texas Donnie Chisholm and wife Paula of Elmore City, Oklahoma Sister: Joyce 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren Mrs. Chisholm was preceded in death by: Her husband: Walt Chisholm Parents: Charlie and Alta Potter 3 brothers and 1 sister Grandson: Jason Chisholm Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley.
