Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Graham’s Chapel Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home.

MEMORIALS: If desired family requests memorials be made to Comanche Public Library, 311 North Austin, Comanche, Texas 76442; or Solaris Hospice, 108 North Bell Street, Hamilton, Texas 76531 Ruth Hyatt, age 90, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on July 22, 1928 in Tyron, Oklahoma to Harmon M. Kintigh and Nettie M. (Weis). On August 9, 1947, she married J.C. Hyatt in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He preceded her in death on August 4, 2001. Ruth was a homemaker and devoted her life to her husband and family. She was a member of Board Baptist Church.

Ruth was active at the Gustine Senior Center, loved to play 42, and loved to cook and paint. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Beaty and husband, Joe, of Comanche and Ann Hyatt of Abilene; two sons, Raymond Hyatt and wife, Debbie, of Bastrop and Joe Hyatt and wife, Jane, of Comanche; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon M. Kintigh and Nettie M. (Weis); a son, David Hyatt; a sister, Rose Hampton; and a brother, Roy Kintigh.
