Ruth Woolley, 79, of Olean, Missouri passed away Friday morning, April 27, 2018 at Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. She was born August 28, 1938 in Olean, Missouri, the daughter of the late Glen and Bernice (Livingston) Walker. On August 26, 1978 at Olean Baptist Church, she was united in marriage to Dave Woolley who survives of the home.

Other survivors, Children, Rick Callahan (Marsha) of Eldon, MO; Lisa Bailey (Durand) of Olean, MO; Terry Callahan (Natalie) of Eldon, MO; Michael Callahan of Eldon, MO Brother, Carl Walker of Ferguson, MO Sister, Judy Thornsberry (J. Paul) of Eldon, MO Six Grandchildren & Eleven Great Grandchildren One Brother in law, two Sisters in law and many Nieces & Nephews A brother in law & a sister in law preceded her in death. Ruth was an avid stock car fan, attending many races throughout the country.

She was a longtime score keeper for many softball tournaments held at the Eldon VFW Post. She loved her family and was cherished by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow at the Olean Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Olean Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
