Ryder Alexander Rae Stephen, age 1, of Anderson, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Riley Children’s Hospital. He was born on November 1, 2016, in Anderson to Alex R. Harris and Alyson B. Stephen. Ryder enjoyed watching Paw Patrol, Mickey Mouse, and Sponge Bob on television.

He loved playing with his brothers and talking to his sister until she laughed. Ryder loved his peanut butter sandwiches and milk, going for Jeep rides and running outside. He was a very happy and much loved baby.

Ryder is survived by his father, Alex R.. Harris, mother, Alyson B. Stephen, 3 brothers, Brentlee Snyder, Ezikiah Stephen and Isaiah Harris, a sister, Emberlynn Wootton, maternal grandparents, Heather (Brian) Elbert, maternal grandparents, Joe (Linda) Altherr, paternal grandparents, Jody (Tamara) Harris, God-grandparents, Crystal (Charles) Anderson, several great-grandparents, Carmelita Stephen, Scott Stephen, and Jenny Jacobs, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryder was preceded in death by his maternal great-great grandma Sylvia Anderson, great-great grandpa, Bud Anderson, and paternal great grandpa, Duane Jacobs.

A funeral service celebrating Ryder’s life will be at 2:00 pm Monday, November 5, 2018 at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton with Rev. Brian Ball officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be Monday, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home. Online condolences can be given at www.
