Obituary for Sally Gourley Caldwell Sally Gourley Caldwell, born January 22, 1921, went to with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She passed away peacefully in her home, just as she had often prayed she would. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 72 years, Rev.

Joe Caldwell, all of her beloved siblings and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her children, Betty (Richard) Taylor and Boyd (Jane) Caldwell; her grandchildren Penney McNutt, Kristin (Devin) Cundall, Shane (Lisa) Taylor and Kala Caldwell; great-grandchildren Luke (Stephanie) McNutt, Caleb McNutt, Drew (Brittany) Chasteen, Lacey (Matt) Ritch, Alex Cundall and Lauren Cundall; great-great-grandchildren Elijah McNutt, AnnaBeth McNutt, Emma Chasteen, Kaylea Chasteen, and Grayson Ritch; and her special life-long friend Jessie Ayers. She was a devoted wife and mother and had a tremendous influence on the lives of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She lived an exemplary Christian life which set an example for all who knew her. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Loudon, TN, and internment will be there on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00am. Friends will be received Thursday evening, October 11, at Kyker’s Funeral Home from 5p-7p with service to follow at 7pm.

The family wishes to recognize the following special people who were instrumental in helping care for her: Bill and Clara Lemons, Chris and Julie Gourley and Danny and Sandra Lemons.
