Obituary for Samuel Mack Atchison Samuel Mack Atchison, 77, of Okay, OK was born October 28, 1940 to Samuel and Ruby Atchison and peacefully passed away May 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Sam joined the United States Air Force in 1957 at the age of 17. He served until1964 when he joined the reserves and retired Honorably in 1990.

He served in England for three years and various places stateside. Mack met and later married the love of his life Lenora Ann Chenault in 1963 in Stigler, OK. Mack started his career with OG&E and retired in 2003.

He loved to golf, OU Football and Basketball and working around the farm. Mack is preceded in death by his wife Lenora; daughter, Debbie Cross; parents, brother, Billie Dean Atchison and sister Helen Loftis. Mack survived by his sons, Darrel Mack Atchison and wife Tammy of Okay, OK and David Wayne Atchison and wife Desiree also of Okay, OK; grandchildren, Matthew Atchison and wife Lakyn of Claremore, OK; Samantha Atchison of Coweta, OK; Lee Cross and wife Sarah of Lutterworth, England; Stuart Cross and wife Fran of Lutterworth, England; Martin Cross and wife Naomi also of Lutterworth, England and Sarah Bone and husband Jeff of Birmingham, England; brother, Arnold Atchison and wife Pat of Huber Heights, OH; sister, Juanita McDaniel and husband Junior of Muskogee, OK; great grandchildren, Chloe, James, Ruby, Marc, Henry and Teddy.

A memorial service celebrating Mack’s life will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson.
