Obituary for Carlene Beatrice Wetzel Carlene Beatrice Wetzel, 67, of Fort Gibson was born January 27, 1951 in Oakland, California to Carl and Bobbie (Carlton) Hulbert and received her angel wings on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Tulsa with her loving family by her side. Carlene left California at an early age and moved to Oklahoma with her family. She attended Muskogee Schools and graduated from Muskogee Central High School.

Carlene furthered he education at Bacone College in Muskogee and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a shining light and friend to many people while working at Fort Gibson Nursing Home and Country Gardens Assisted Living. Carlene was a faithful member of Valley View Church in Fort Gibson.

Her greatest joy was her family and her grandchildren. Carlene is preceded in death by her father. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Bobbie Hulbert of Fort Gibson, OK; brother, Carl Hulbert of Fort Gibson, OK; sisters, Brenda Bybee and Glenda Hulbert both of Fort Gibson, OK; daughters, Angel Hulbert of Fort Gibson, OK, Shelly Lammers of Fort Gibson, OK, and Vickie Hall of Strang, OK; sons, Rick Wetzel of Fort Gibson, OK and Brian Jacob Hulbert of Fort Gibson, OK; fourteen grandkids; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Memorial services celebrating the life of Carlene Beatrice Wetzel will be 5:00PM, Monday, July 30, 2018 at Valley View Church in Fort Gibson with Pastor Don Rhyne officiating. Honorary casket bearers are Floyd Hall, Jake Hulbert, Grant Garland, Rick Wetzel, and Michael Smith. The family of Carlene Beatrice Wetzel has entrusted her cremation and services to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson.
