Obituary for James Allen Arnett James Allen Arnett, 74 of Fort Gibson was born October 1, 1943 in Fort Gibson, OK to Boyd and Thelma (Fore) Arnett and peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Muskogee. James grew up and received his education in Fort Gibson. He married the love of his life Shirley Seabolt, which preceded him in death.

He was employed by Corning Glass/Schott as a Tradesman for 33 years. He loved to bass fish and spent many hours enjoying his time on the water in his boat catching fish. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; daughter, LaDonna McNeer; sister, Doris Edelman; brother, Bill Arnett and nephew, Jimmy Arnett Jr. Those left to cherish his memories are his son; Michael Arnett and wife Nancy of Ohio; granddaughter, Brittany McNeer of Muskogee; grandsons, Hunter Arnett of Tulsa and Zachary Arnett of Tulsa; great-granddaughter, Amora Morris of Muskogee; brother, Jim Arnett of Fort Gibson; sister in law, Linda Arnett of Fort Gibson, numerous nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and many friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12PM-7PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Fort Gibson Church of Christ, with Mr. Budo Perry and Minister Dan Rouse officiating with Justin Arnett, Billy Arnett, Austin Cox, Kevin Koel, Jeremy Koel, Dalton Colley and Daylon Colley serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Aidan Noblitt and Parker Noblitt Committal prayers and interment will be held 10AM, Monday, June 18, 2018 at Citizens Cemetery Pavilion in Fort Gibson.
