SANDRA FAYE SNYDER, age 71, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 3:47 a.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1946 in Fayette County to Raymond and Rosemary Crabtree Wilson. She was a graduate of Washington High School.

Sandra had worked as a waitress at Garner’s Truck Stop on US Highway 35, and had been a ten year employee at Kmart while living in Tennessee; she also volunteered at the Fayette County Early Learning Center. She had been a member at the New Life Church of God in Washington CH. Sandra was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was blessed with artistic ability and enjoyed crafting, sewing, and collecting dolls, blue glass, and angels. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gerld Wilson, Roger Wilson, and Harrison Wilson. Survivors include her husband, Keith Allan Snyder, whom she married on July 1, 1969; children, Peggy Jo Baker, Sharon Rose (Dan) McClain, Christine Marie McKenzie, Lisa Ann Gatton, Tina Louise Snyder, and Raymond Keith Snyder; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Cathy Shadley, Randy (Chris) Wilson, Ernest Wilson, and Marvin (Shirley) Wilson.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
