REGINA BOWDLE, age 85, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:45 a.m., at her granddaughter Kelsey’s home She was born on September 25, 1932 in Fayette County to Harry and Ruth Blair Wolfe. She was a homemaker and also worked as a caretaker for many years. She was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church and also had attended the Harvest Life Church.

Regina was a longtime member of the Frankfort Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers, attending church, serving others and was a “huge people person”. Most of all, she relished spending time with her family and dear friends.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Donald E. “Don” Bowdle, son-in-law, Theodore “Ted” Pierson, and brother, Harry Wolfe Jr. Survivors include her children, Lynn Pierson, and Lowell Bowdle and his wife Shannon Bowdle; grandchildren, Kelsey Bowdle and her fiancé, Deskins Campbell, Madeline Sternberg, Eli Sternberg, and Bryn Regina Bowdle and great-grandchild, Harper Campbell; as well siblings Eileen Wolfe Blue, Charlene Wolfe Morris, Richard Wolfe, Betty Wolfe Briggs, and Herb Wolfe. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Jon Silveous and Chris Conley officiating with burial to follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery of Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd. , Circleville, Ohio 43113 and also, the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Rd. , Dublin, Ohio 43017.
