Betty Matthews May 9, 1942–July 21, 2018 Betty J. Matthews 76, of Chillicothe formerly Jeffersonville passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born May 9, 1942 to the late Richard Conner and Bernice Moore in Dayton, Ohio. Betty had babysat for numerous children over the years and was a member of the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step mother Allie “Betty” Conner and brother David Greenwalt. Betty is survived by her sons Jeffrey Matthews of Jeffersonville and Kevin Matthews of Chillicothe; daughter Karen (Anthony) Phillips of Chillicothe; former daughter in law Kelli Matthews of Gerogia; brother Rick (Jan) Conner of Falmouth KY; sisters Debbie (Sam) Crawford of Cookeville TN and Barbara (David) Sheehan of Medway, Ohio; grandchildren Kevin and Jennifer Matthews of GA, Lauren Tatum of GA and Drew and Jonah Phillips both of Chillicothe; great grandchildren Lyle And Clyde Tatum both of GA and special friend Malcolm Miller. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Morrow Funeral Home, Jeffersonville with Anthony Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday July 27, 2018 from 4-7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church, Jeffesonville Ohio.
