Sandra’s Obituary Sandra Jean O’Neal Bane, 73, wife of O’Dell Lewis Bane, passed away January 9, 2019 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness. Sandra was born October 19, 1945, the daughter of the late William R. O’Neal and the late Alice Weathers O’Neal. She was a graduate of Carolina Commerce College in Florence and worked at Mullins Hospital in various capacities.

She had also worked for Dr. Fritz Johnson and Dr. James Carroll. Sandra had served as Executive Secretary for Wildlife Action, Inc She loved her Lord and church and her Willing Workers Sunday School Class at Mullins First Baptist Church.

Sandra loved cross stitching and gardening, when her health permitted, and she was an avid reader. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: 2 Daughters: Anna Bane (Buddy) Gasque of Marion and Jeanne Bane (Bradley) Poston of Mullins; her Loving Grandchildren: Holden Gasque, Sam Gasque, Noah Poston, Jonah Poston and Olivia Poston; and a Brother: Charles D. “Buck” (Billie) O’Neal of Florence. Graveside memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday.

January 14, at Cedardale Cemetery, with Dr. Kenneth Sandifer officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. The Family will be receiving friends at the home at 701 N. Main St., Mullins.
