Sandra L. “Sandy” Zimmerman, 75, of Leechburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Born October 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. Kubal and Kathryn J. McKendree. Sandy was an Apollo Ridge High School graduate and worked as an LPN for Allegheny General Hospital, retiring in 2000.

She was a member of the Apollo Women’s Club, proudly working toward building their original fountain, and instrumental in bringing the tank to The Grove.
