Sandra’s Obituary Sandi, passed away on December 20th, 2018 in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona at the age of 75 years old. Sandi is survived by her children, Robin Hitchcock and Heather Ramirez; brothers, Ronald and William Stirling; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild whom she all adored. Sandi also was blessed enough to have 5 step-children who she loved as her own (Living in Wisconsin and Florida).

Sandi was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on March 15, 1943 to James and Gweneth Stirling. She graduated from Dalton High School in Dalton, Massachusetts. Soon after graduation she attended Nursing School in Massachusetts and New York and Earned her RN degree.

Sandi was extremely proud of her 30 plus professional years as a Registered Nurse. She spent most of her career as an Emergency Room nurse, and trained to become a Flight Nurse. She always said how she “loved the adrenaline”.

She was a Trainer for several years and she faithfully kept her certificates and license current even after retirement. Sandi was the most non-judgmental, selfless person. She had always placed her families’ needs above her own.

Even if it was to drive 4 hours to care for a grandchild for one hour or one day. She was active in her church and had many friends. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Pinetop.

Sandi loved the Ocean, Scotland, her dogs, and especially being Grama / GG. She was the “Ultimate Scrabble Player” and could beat even Webster’s Dictionary, She was always chosen as the “winning partner”. Sandi was always passionate about the World, and helping others, she was always grateful and rarely took anything for granted.

Her empathy and her light could pierce moon beams. Sandi’s Celebration of Life Is scheduled for January 5th, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. All friends and family are welcome, 249 S. Kolb Rd. Club House, Tucson, Arizona, 85710.
