Jacobson, 56, of Kingston, IL. passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday January 24, 2019. She was born at home on October 14, 1962 in Garden Prairie, IL to Wilmer “Squirt” and Nancy Sennett Bacon.

She graduated from Genoa-Kingston High School in 1980. She married the love of her life Tom Jacobson on December 18, 1999. She was a devoted babysitter for many family and friends, loving them all like her own.

She then worked in Social Services at Bethany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center for 19 years, her residents loved her as she cared for them with dedication. Sandy loved spending time with her family, camping, and the Bacon family reunions. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 1010 since 2004.

She was a true Nascar fan, always rooting for her favorite, #24 Jeff Gordon. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Tom Jacobson; Mother, Nancy Bacon of Kingston, IL; Daughters, Amanda (Jeremy) Horner of Genoa, IL; Ashley (Timothy) Loomis of Polo, IL; Son Jeff Jr. (Elle) Beach of Bean Station, TN; Grandchildren Keegan, Kaylie, Adalynn, and Brayden. Siblings, Danny (Tammy) Bacon of Genoa, IL; Donald (Sue) Bacon of Boscobel, WI; James (Janet) Bacon of Genoa, IL; Janet Long of Belvidere, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father Wilmer “Squirt” Bacon. Multiple aunts and uncles. Her visitation will be on Saturday, Feb.

2nd from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, IL. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00 PM. The family would like to thank Northwestern Medicine Hospice, nurses Judy and Laura for their great care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his family in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave. , Sycamore, IL. 60178.
