Sara Francis Ashley, of Cadwell Georgia, passed away on October 1st, 2018. She was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on July 24th, 1928. Later in life, she moved from Tallahassee, Florida to Cadwell, Georgia where she lived for forty-four years.

She retired from her work at Fairview Park and with her being a hard worker and very determined, started Ashley Trucking Company. She was a very independent owner and bookkeeper of her company. Sara Ashley loved her family, and was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph and Eliza McDonald, her husband; Joe Ashley, her daughter; Alisa Williamson, and her son; Bobby Baxley.

She survived in life by her daughters; Cheryl Gavetti (Billy), of Dublin, Joann Herndon (Gary), of Cadwell, Brandie Crabb-Bonner (Dennis Bonner), of Cadwell; her granddaughters; Tiffany Baley (Dusty), of Cedar Grove, Rebecca Young (Brian), of Cadwell, Roxie Allen (Jody), of East Dublin, Nickie Dires, of Dexter; her grandsons; Rickey Evans, of Cadwell, Ty Herndon, of Cadwell; and fourteen great grand children. A private service will be held at a later date.
