Obituary for Sara Leonard Sara Ann Alverson Leonard, 85, passed away October 29, 2018. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late James A. and Mary Fowler Alverson, she was a retired employee of Lyman Mill and a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marinda and David Everette of Duncan and a granddaughter, Ashley Everette.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Sharon United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Bryson Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Friday at the church. The family is at the home of her daughter. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5850, Greenville, SC 29601 or Sharon United Methodist Church, 1421 Reidville Sharon Road, Greer, SC 29651.
