Sarah Ann Gatewood Williams January 24, 1936 – December 23, 2018 Sarah Ann Gatewood-Williams was born to Rosa Ann Little Gatewood and Charles Gatewood on January 24, 1936 in Wadesboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her children Helen Gene Gatewood, Cornelius Williams, Tracy Williams, Sarah Williams-Allen, and all of her siblings except one, Charles Gatewood of Wadesboro, NC. She also leaves to mourn her passing her children Andrew (Modestine) Gatewood of Wadesboro, NC and Lonnie (Mattie) Gatewood of Winston Salem, NC; her faithful granddaughter Shorovia Williams; grandchildren Latrice (Reggie) Davis, Latoya Gatewood, Shawnta (Chase) Davis, Antonio Johnson, Chris Wilson, Kimberly Allen, Kelly Capel, Charles Holt, and John Pegeuse; and a host of great-grands, nieces, and nephews.

Ms. Williams passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at the age of 82, after being a long time resident of Happy Hill Garden and then a resident of Golden Lamb Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, Dec.

29, 2018 at Morning Star Baptist Church with visitation preceding at 12 Noon.
