She was born in Webster Springs on July 18, 1960 the daughter of the late Harry and Naomi Amos Cogar. Saundra is survived by her two children: Christina Ireland of Buckhannon and Justin Ireland of Tennerton; five grandchildren: Gabrielle, Hailey, Alvin, Serenity and Ryder; five sisters: Kathy Hicks of Harrodvurt, Scarlett Cogar of Webster Springs, Belinda Davis and Debra Vaughn both of Buckhannon, and Rita Knak of Tucson Arizona; four brothers: Dwaine Cogar and Allen Cogar both of Bolair, WV, Harlan Cogar of Cowen, and Donnie Cogar of Ohio.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dennis R. Ireland and two sisters: Angie Cogar and Judy McCot. Saundra was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, art and books. Saundra’s wishes for cremation have been honored and Services will be held at a later date.
