Sharon Smith Braley went to join Jesus Friday morning in her home. Mrs. Braley was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew who her. She was a gifted florist and floral designer and owned and operated Artistic Gifts by Sharon on Main Street in Forest Park for more than two decades.

She also served as a dispatcher and helped her father, George Mapp, operate G & S Trucking during that time. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and crocheting blankets for friends and loved ones. Sharon had great faith, worked hard her whole life and invested everything she had in her family and friends, who meant the whole world to her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Louis Mapp; her father, James B Smith; her sister, Patricia Jackson and two aunts, Delores Rusher and Gene Mapp. She is survived by her father, George Mapp; her devoted husband of 33 years, Paul D Braley; her son, Jeff Hensley and his wife Amanda; her daughter, Tammy Hensley; her sisters, Marianne Lawson, Debra Morgan and Kathy Olsommer; her grandchildren, Allison, Tyler and Jody Hensley; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
