Obituary for Sharon L. Ray Sharon L. Ray, age 50, of Ostrander died Thursday morning May 24, 2018 in Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was born August 9, 1967 to Russell L. and Marilyn G. (Paisley) McCoy. Sharon was a 1985 graduate of Olentangy High School.

She had worked at the Delaware Gazette and the Ostrander Post Office. She enjoyed all animals especially her dogs. Sharon’s favorite holiday was Halloween and those in Ostrander call their decorated home “Ghost-Strander”.

She attended the Ashley Wesleyan Church. Survivors include her husband, Rob Ray; son, Gabe Ray; mother Marilyn G. Bastian of Lewis Center; brothers, Al (Tammy) McCoy of N.Y. and Scott (Lori) McCoy of Galena; and sister Debra (Mack Shepard) Osborne of Cardington. Friends may call on Tuesday May 29, 2018 from 10:00 until the time of the funeral service at 12:15 at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 West Winter St. in Delaware.
