Obituary for Sharon Landingham Sharon Landingham, age 74, of Unicoi, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Erwin, Sharon is a daughter of the late Ray and Clara (Mullins) Kegley. She loved cats, flowers, gardening, animals, and nature.

Sharon traveled everywhere in the United States except Hawaii, because there was no bridge yet. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children and their friends. In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Olean Landingham and father-in-law, Tom Landingham.

Sharon Landingham leaves behind to cherish her memory: Husband of 56 years: Phillip W. Landingham of Unicoi; Daughter: Ramona Hottinger and husband, Randy of Unicoi; Son: Anthony Wayne Landingham and wife, Meredith of Ladson, SC; Grandson: Hayden Hottinger; Brother: Glen Maggand of Petersburg, VA; Beloved Family Cat: Jessie. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the heart doctors and nursing staff of the Johnson City Medical Center. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Sharon Landingham in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018 and will continue until the hour of service. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sparks Cemetery above Happy Valley Elementary School. Those who wish to attend will meet by 10:50 AM at the cemetery.
