Obituary for Brenda Kay Harris Brenda Kay Harris, age 63, passed away on Wednesday September 5, 2018, at her residence. Born in Johnson City but a native of Erwin, Brenda is a daughter of the late J. R. and Kathleen (Harrell) Story. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family cherished her for that.

Brenda Kay Harris leaves behind to cherish her memories: Children: Ashley Potter, Shane Baucom, Amanda Abram; Five grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren; Sisters: Teresa Peterson, Marcia Adams, Lana Harris; Husband: Robert Harris. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Brenda Kay Harris in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Jim Griffith will officiate.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the hour of service on Thursday, September 13, 2018. A committal service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Evergreen Cemetery. Those attending the committal service will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 9:30 AM on Friday to go in procession.
