Sharon “Sharry” Louise Kinney, 73 years old, passed away Friday morning, surrounded by her family, November 16, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. Sharon was born on October 9, 1945 in South Bend to the late Harry Allen Truax and Blanche (Elliott) Truax. She remained a lifelong area resident.

Sharry graduated from Tyner High School in 1963. On April 18, 1964 she was married to Jimmie Kinney, in Etna Green Indiana, who survives. Sharry is survived by her daughter, Rhonda J. (David Prybylla) Kinney of Plymouth; son Michael D. (Kimberly) Kinney of Plymouth; two grandchildren Austin and Emily Kinney; sister, Jean E (Phillip) Clark of Goshen and brother James R. (Patricia) Truax of Waco, Texas.

Sharry loved being at home, crafting, organizing, camping, playing games with her family. She had the best imagination and loved playing with kids. She loved travelling, having been to all fifty states.

She was a dedicated member of the Church of the Brethren, most recently attending the Bremen Church of the Brethren. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, Indiana 46506, with Rev. Evan Garber officiating.

Friends may also visit the family on Tuesday, November 20, from 4:00-6:00 PM, at the Church. Palmer funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana 46614 is helping the family with arrangements. In Lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Sharon “Sharry” Louise Kinney may be donated to the Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, Indiana 46506.
