Sheila Fay McGee, age 58 of Brandon, MS passed peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Sheila was born to the late Willette and Wilma Fay Beard of Brandon MS on July 14, 1959. Sheila married Mike McGee from Morton, MS in September 1977.

Brandon Native, Sheila and Mike made Brandon their home and the place they raised their two children Michele and Josh. Sheila was devoted to her career of 33 years at Capitol City Beverages as their Office/ IT Manager. Sheila loved spending her free time with her family, working in her flower beds, crocheting, and cooking.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Mike McGee; her children Michele and Josh(Christina); her mother Wilma Fay Beard; her siblings Barbara Jeffries(Danny), Lisa Scallorn( Chuck), Danny Ray Beard(Jennifer), and Eugene Beard; granddaughter Ally McGee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Willette Beard. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, 1360 West Government Street, Brandon, MS.

A memorial service for Sheila will be held at Ott and Lee Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at Andrew Chapel Cemetery Brandon, MS, on Monday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made, in Sheila’s memory, to Alzheimer’s Mississippi, 855 South Pear Orchard Road, Ste. 501 Ridgeland, MS 39157, and 601-987-0020.
