Mrs. Shekethia Rene Turner Hester transitioned from life to life eternal on June 25, 2018 surrounded by those who loved her. She was the daughter of Kenneth Stancil Turner and Mary Thomas Currie Turner “Mary Tom” born in Alamance County. She was a 1976 graduate of Cummings High School and worked as a dedicated Physical Therapist with Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

She was a devoted member of Great Commission Baptist Church. She had a loving and giving heart and she will be sorely missed by all who loved her. Remembering her with love and devotion are: her husband William Hester; step-son: Corey Grubbs; two brothers: Thomas Turner and Lamont Turner (Annie Rue); three sisters, Carolyn Sellars (John), Pamela Turner and Leah Bailey (Irvin) as well as many loving nieces, nephews other relatives dear friends.
