Mr. Sherrill D. Lee, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2018 in WakeMed Health & Hospitals, Raleigh. Mr. Lee’s funeral service will be held Sunday, April 29th at 2 p.m. at Hoods Grove Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev.

Bill West and Rev. Frank Sandy. He will be laid to rest in the Lee Family Cemetery, Benson.

The family will receive friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove on Saturday, April 28th from 6 till 8 p.m. Mr. Sherrill is survived by his wife, Carolyn T. Lee of the home, son Deleon Lee and wife Nancy of Meadow, Crystal Lee and husband Philip of Meadow, grandchildren Amber, Tristan, Sheryl “Nikki” and Dylan, nephew Gene E. Lee and wife Lisa and niece Vicki Pope and husband Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph E. and Alice B. Lee and brother Dwight Lee. Online condolences may be made at www.
