Sherry Stallings Benton, age 68 of Whiteville, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House in Whiteville. Born in Richmond, Virginia on August 12, 1950, she was a daughter to the late Wilton L. Stallings and Alice Atkinson Stallings. To cherish her memories, she leaves five children, Michael David Rhodes of Hallsboro, John Linwood Rhodes of Calabash, Anthony Ray Rhodes “Tony” of Lake Waccamaw, Amanda Joy Benton of Whiteville, Kimberly D. Dudley of Bladenboro; her brother, Wilton L. Stallings of Plantation, FL , and 11 Grandchildren.
