Obituary for Shirley Petefish (Williams) Shirley Ann Petefish, age 82 of Springfield, Mo. passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Jordan Creek Nursing & Rehab in Springfield. Shirley was born on January 28, 1936 in Granby, Mo.

, the daughter of Virgil and Hazel (Douthitt) Williams. She has been a life-time area resident. Shirley worked for many years at Empire District Electric Co. and helped her husband as owners of a number of sheet metal businesses around Joplin, Mo.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Springfield. She enjoyed music, gardening and especially loved to travel with her husband. She married Cecil Petefish on June 16, 1957, he survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter; Rebecca Turnbough and husband Roger of Springfield, three sons; Kevin Petefish of New Orleans, La. , David Petefish and Ron Brottlund of Las Vegas, Nv. Graveside services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Mo.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
