Shirley M. Dunlap, age 71, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 12:30am at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky. Shirley was born on October 13, 1946 in Tiffin, Ohio to Don C. and Maxine (Day) Sherer, and they are deceased. She was married to William H. “Bill” Dunlap, of Sycamore, for 34 years and they divorced.

Shirley is survived by 2 sons: William C. (Kelly) Dunlap of Sycamore, Todd A. (Janet) Dunlap of McCutchenville, and a daughter Corinna Dunlap. 6 grandchildren: Alyssa, Kayla, Brayden, Billy, Tabitha and Levi, along with 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Taah, and 3 sisters: Janet, Betty and Leah.

Shirley worked as a nursing assistant for Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky for 11 years. She was an avid supporter for the Disabled American Veterans. Her family was everything to her.

She loved to spend her time with them and also enjoyed watching movies with her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service for Shirley Dunlap will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will be at Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Scipia Township in Seneca County and will be held at a later date.

Visitations will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm Saturday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County, or Scholarship Fund at Wyandot Memorial Hospital and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
