Stanley “Guy” Austin, 53, of Bradford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY, after complications related to a September 5th auto accident. He was born on December 8, 1964 in Washington, D.C., a son of Barbara J. Jones Austin and the late Stanley E. Austin. He was a 1964 graduate of the Smethport Area High School.

The Levitow award in the pinnacle of success in ALS and Enlisted PME, presented to the student that demonstrated the most outstanding leadership and scholastic qualities. He will be remembered for his love of animals, NASCAR, camping and card-playing.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Austin; his three children, Ashly (Min) Kim, Steven Austin and Lacy Austin; his mother, Barbara Austin; his brother, Randy Austin; his sisters, Lynn (Charlie) Brown and Laura (Brud) Burdick; two grandchildren, Hannah Kim and Ezra Kim; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Beyond his father, Guy was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Layla Moore and Zara Moore. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Hilltop Baptist Church, Gifford, with the Pastor Max Simms officiating.
