Stephen “Nick” Markobrad passed away suddenly in Crete, IL. He was born on October 5, 1953 the son of Peter and Rae Markobrad nee Cecile. He is survived by his loving wife Sherry Markobrad nee Fell as well as his children Samuel Markobrad of Chicago, IL and Claire (Jeff) Cowen of Barrie Ontario, Canada.

Also surviving are his siblings Brad (Karie) Markobrad of Brookfield, IL, Syndy (Greg) Nugent of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Diane (Larry) Edwards of Zion, IL and his mother. He is preceded in death by his father. Nick enjoyed gardening, reading, boating, golf, camping and had a great passion for helping others.
