Steve Maurice Meadors, age 65 of Valdosta died peacefully January 6, 2019 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. Per his request, no formal services will be held. Steve was born April 18, 1953 in Greenville, SC to the late Bill and Joyce Smith Meadors.

He attended Hillcrest High School in Fountain Inn, SC, as a young adult he worked as a loom fixer at the Beattie Plant Textile Mill. He later left the mill and opened Red’s Neighborhood Grill in Clinton, SC, he also entered into the COAM industry. He never met a stranger and was generous with anything he had to give.

He was passionate about singing and frequented many karaoke stages all over South Carolina and Georgia. He is survived by one son, Steve (Cayce) Meadors Jr., four grandchildren Carson, Parker, Jack and Drake Meadors, and one sister, Janet (Jesse) Styron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, one sister and two nieces.
