Steven Lee Wheeler, 59, of Berlin, Oklahoma was born on February 18, 1959 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Robert Lee and Eleanor Ann (Klopfenstein) Wheeler. He passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Bell Avenue Nursing Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Steven attended the Gateway Church of Elk City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Gateway Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. Brother Greg Newton will officiate.

Interment will be at Berlin Cemetery in Berlin, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing his memory are his mother, Eleanor Wheeler of Sayre, Oklahoma; one sister, Shirley Wheeler of Pueblo, Colorado; two uncles, Roger Klopfenstein and his wife Linda of Berlin, Oklahoma and James Wheeler and his wife Jan of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; seven nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; poodle Abbie.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Wheeler; two uncles; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
