Steven Eric Knox, 66, of Lubeck went Home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ January 4, 2019 at his residence under the loving care of his family. He was born on October 12, 1952 in Parkersburg the son of the late Thomas D. Sr. and Wilma McClung Knox. Steven had worked for Mr. Bee for twenty-seven years and retired in 2006.

He attended the New England Baptist Church. Steven was an avid Mountaineer fan and loved time with family. He had a passion for flying, air planes, old cars and motorcycles.

He enjoyed the outdoors and following his retirement he spent many hours in his lawn, keeping it well-manicured. Steven is survived by his wife Eleanor Knox, daughter Mindy Cummings (Rod), granddaughter Emily Fox (Nick), grandson Luke Cummings, great granddaughter Addie, all of Ravenswood, step-children Cheryl Boone (John), Greg Casto (Angel) all of St. Albans, Robert Camp (Carol), Betty Lou Life (Chuck), all of Parkersburg, several step-grandchildren, step-mother Ouida Sue Knox of Michigan, sister Joanna Alfred, brother Joe Knox (Tonya), all of Parkersburg, step brother Dail Kuhens (Rhonda), step-sister Darlene Kuhens (Chuck) both of Michigan, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and Susan Pease, mother of his two children. In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his son Steven Eric Jr., previous wife Jeanette Knox, sister Deanna “Susie” Cremeans, brother Thomas Knox Jr., brother-in-law John Alfred, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

The funeral will be 11 AM Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Rev. Roger Johnson, Pastor Mike Howerton and Pastor Bob Watkins officiating. Burial will be at Lubeck Cemetery.
